Advocacy at El Rancho

El Rancho Students Making a Difference

Throughout each school year, El Rancho's community of staff, students, and parents support several non-profit and charity initiatives. In November, staff members grow mustaches to support men's health awareness for Movember. El Rancho's team has raised over $40,000 dollars in the 6 years of participating. In May, 2015, El Rancho's students and staff organized a Stop Hunger Now event. In less than 2 hours, students and staff made, packaged, and boxed over 70,000 meals to combat world hunger. Also in May, El Rancho raises money for cancer awareness for Relay for Life. The culminating event takes place at Canyon High School's track where friends and staff walk around the track for 24 hours straight, in honor of those who have battled cancer. Below are just a few of the organizations El Rancho's community of staff, students, and parents work with on a continuous basis.
